Outlaw 330 All-Run Pairings Format
The SouthWest 330 will be an all-run format. The pairings below are intended to even the field at 8 or 16 cars after the first round so that there are no bye-runs scattered throughout the ladder. This makes for more exciting Outlaw 330 side-by-side heads up racing.
- 12 cars – #1-4 bye-runs, 5 vs. 12, 6 vs. 11, 7vs. 10, 8 vs.9
- 13 cars – #1-5 bye-runs, 6 vs. 13, 7 vs. 12, 8 vs. 11, 9 vs. 10
- 14 cars – #1-2 bye-runs, 3 vs. 14, 4 vs. 13, 5 vs. 12, 6vs. 11, 7 vs. 10, 8 vs. 9
- 15 cars – #1 bye-run, 2 vs. 15, 3 vs. 14, 4 vs. 13, 5 vs. 12, 6 vs. 11, 7 vs.10, 8 vs. 9
8 or less, field will be set on an 8 car ladder with the pairings below;
- 7 cars – #1 bye-run, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5
- 6 cars – #1-2 bye-runs, 3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5

Win and You’re In
The SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series will employ a new strategy called “Win and You’re In.” This concept is for the All-Run Pairings Format when we have a qualified field of 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, and 20 cars. In the “Win and You’re In” scenario there will be no points awarded for rounds entered for either car or the cars that are currently sitting out the round.
9 -11, field will be set on a 16 car ladder with pairings below;
- 9 cars - 8 vs. 9 for the 8th qualifying spot (rest of field has bye-runs)
- 10 cars – 7 vs. 10, 8 vs. 9 for the 7th and 8th spots (rest of field has bye-runs)
- 11 cars – 6 vs. 11, 7 vs. 10, 8 vs. 9, for 6th, 7th, and 8th spots (rest of field has bye-runs)
Over 16 cars, field will be set on a 32 car ladder with pairings below;
- 17 cars – 16 vs. 17 for the 16th spot
- 18 cars – 15 vs. 18, 16 vs. 17 for the 16th spots
- 19 cars – 14 vs. 19, 15 vs. 18, 16 vs. 17 for 14th, 15th, and 16th spots
- 20 cars – 13 vs. 20, 14 vs. 19, 15 vs. 18, 16 vs. 17 for 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th spots
Outlaw 330 Eliminations Bye-Runs
- In the interest of the track owners and to save time, bye-runs will be paired; with lane choice going to the driver with the quickest elapsed time during qualifying.
- The car must stage under its own power, cross the finish line under its own power, and make minimum weight to advance to the next round.
